Indian, again?

I really couldn't get this out of my mind. This was the 4th time where people asked me about the "not-so-malay-looking" thingy. I don't know whether this is one kind of a compliment or are they trying to discriminate? =.='

"Why is your name Qhailani Asymui? That doesn't sound like a Malay name. You have the Indian look (with his hand on his nose). Hmm. Do you have a bit of Siamese?" asked the lecturer, Mr George in class just now. 

Yes, I have a bit of Siamese. But the Indian part, I've gotta ask my parents. They didn't even mention any of that part before.


How do I look actually? :| I'm a Malay, as clearly stated in my IC. Proud to be one!
